The Customer Solutions and Tools (CST) team provides tools, support, consulting, and project assistance to engineering and business teams throughout company. The CST team applies exceptional customer service and innovative software engineering solutions to continuously improve our customer's experience using our applications and services.
The Senior Front-end Web Developer position is responsible for developing and maintaining internal web based tools used by business users and software developers in our business segments. This senior engineer will lead the front-end web design and development of new and existing tools; and will contribute to back-end Java development initiatives. Candidates the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, yet be an integral part of a larger service team. They excellent software development skills with a focus on web development technologies. Candidates must also possess the ability to design simple solutions that meet the needs of the business and meet the long-term objectives of the organization. This position requires strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills. Candidates must be able to build strong, effective relationships with customers and internal groups. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, front-end design, and software development. Our engineers have the ability to research and select technologies that benefit the business. - 5+ years using HTML, Jquery, JavaScript, and CSS
- 5+ years accessing SQL databases
- 3+ years of application design experience

- REST APIs - ideally Apache CXF, JAX-RS
- Experience writing simple SQL queries

- MySQL setup and configuration
- Spring framework
