Install, operate, monitor, maintain, document, and report on network security components to include: virtual private networks (VPNs), encryption keys and devices, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, network authentication systems, network white and black lists, access control lists (ACLs), physical network integrity, and network DMZ. Implement and monitor security measures for network communication systems; advise and assist government security personnel, and provide network security awareness training for system administrators and users. Support the development and execution of network security policies, plans, and procedures; design, implement and monitor network security measures; operate network intrusion detection and forensics; conduct performance analysis of network security incidents; develop network COOP/DR plans and support DIACAP certification and accreditation (C&A) of networks and network systems.
