Packaging Business Development Representative*

This position is responsible for prospecting and selling RR Donnelleys Growing division of Packaging services to new customers as well as growing and retaining business in existing customers.

Required Skills


Sales Representatives are responsible for generating sales from existing and new clients. You will be responsible for the following: 1) Account development and growth 2) Identifying client needs 3) Developing solutions to client needs.


This position requires a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with a strong desire to succeed in sales. If you are a financially driven, highly disciplined and are a competitive sales professional, this is the job for you. You will use a consultative sales approach, will prospect for new business, and execute strategic account plans and recommend solutions based on customer needs. You must have current experience in the same day delivery business. Required Experience


Strong written and oral communications skills with the capability to manage the development and delivery of succinct presentations and proposals that clearly demonstrate how the services you are offering effectively address client requirements and objectives.


The ability to look beyond the initial sales opportunity to identify broader, strategic prospects throughout targeted organizations. The skills to assess these identified opportunities and formulate effective strategies, both long and short-term, for pursuing them.


Comfort initiating and growing relationships with senior management level Marketing, Brand, Packaging and Graphics personnel within targeted prospects and organizations.


Passionate attention to detail and consistency when it comes to how brands and customer messaging is communicated.


Ability to influence and build internal and external partnerships with teams comprised of a variety of technical, financial, operations and client services roles.


Entrepreneurial nature with the ability to work as an effective part of a larger corporate team.


Eperience in / Strong interest in packaging, brand management, marketing and related brand communications areas.


Demonstrated success working with branded consumer product, pharmaceutical, retail and/or food and beverage companies to support large-scale packaging and brand graphics initiatives.


Preferred mix of operational and sales, technical sales or business development experience.
