Professional Sports Team - Inside Sales Representative

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. In addition to performing the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of other supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by Supervisor.


• Solicit new full and/or partial group ticket packages

• Manage and maintain all client tickets and information through department ticketing system

• Handle ticketing and customer service of new and assigned clientele

• Assist in Marketing and Sales strategies for events

• Meet and exceed designated annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals developed by department management

• Coordinate with other sales departments to offer “full menu” sales to prospects and existing customers

• Complete a designated number of sales calls, identifying customer needs and interests, via inbound and outbound phone sales, outside sales call, inside appointments and networking/business functions

• Coordinate all aspects of a group sale, including working with our concessionaire to arrange for food and any other special pre-game activities related to the group sale

• Coordinate with other departments (Public Relations, Premium, Stadium Operations) to fully service clients needs

• Work and perform assigned event day and event night responsibilities

• Contribute creatively to the Dodger sales and marketing process to assist in new sales opportunities

• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Supervisor of Ticket Sales

• Showcase the Stadium to prospective clients

• One year of sales experience preferred

• Strong telemarketing, fundraising and/or sales skills preferred

• Strong presentation skills

• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively

• Ability to manage numerous accounts and follow a sale from conception to completion

• Ability to handle heavy volume phone activity

• Strong mathematical ability preferred

• Detail-oriented and organized; ability to handle several projects at once

• Willing to work long, non-standard hours
