Engineering is the fastest growing part of our team and we provide ample opportunities to work on technically challenging data mining, mobility, video streaming, localization, voice/image recognition, and infrastructure projects. We’re at the nexus of massive emerging opportunities in online video, mobile, and globalization, and need talented individuals to make the future happen sooner.
We are looking for software engineers to join our team to work on new features as well as help scale our existing website and various mobile/TV applications. We have a very long list of development projects and need a lot of help to get things done. Your work will be enjoyed by a large audience every day. Our development cycle is extremely fast and you will have ample opportunities to work with a wide range of technologies as well as use and contribute to open source software.
Responsibilities:
- Write beautiful, efficient code to develop highly innovative, consumer-facing features and applications
- Work closely with designers and product managers to help drive our future feature set
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- Web development experience, preferably in Django, Python, and WebApp2
- Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu, MySQL and MongoDB
- Experience using cloud services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon Web Services, and Google AppEngine would be a plus
- Any Android or iOS experience would be a strong plus
