Our client has an immediate opening for a Sr. Cognos Application Analyst. This individual will install, configure, and troubleshoot Cognos V7-V10. He/she will oversee the development and implementation of detailed systems. This is a 6 month assignment. The job location is Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Essential Job Functions
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot complex technical system applications.
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Analyze data that requires evaluation of identifiable factors for problems of a diverse scope.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or technical emphasis.
• 5+ years’ experience gathering, analyzing and application development utilizing Spring Tool Suite.
• 5+ years’ experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cognos versions 7 -10.
• Previously worked for a computer hardware & software provider.
• Willingness to work on a contract basis for up to 6 months.
• Experience in a wide range of business environments including business consulting experience is preferred. Other
