Sr. Software Engineer
We are a vibrant, well-funded startup in Los Altos that is changing the way people find things and experiences they love. We have been in business for 3 years and have a team of just over 50 people. Our entire team has either deep startup experience or is coming from a top computer science school. You can be assured that you will be working with very talented developers.

What you need for this position:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science from a top CS school required
- 5+ years of programming experience
- Heavy experience with developing and debugging in Java on Unix
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Maven
- Experience with cloud computing chains like Amazon EC2 and S3
- Data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Experience working closely with a team in a startup
What you'll be doing:
- You will be part architect and systems builder
- Write server-side code for web-based applications
- Implement and integrate data ingestion, analysis, and data-mining systems
- Create high-volume production services
- Develop proof-of-concept prototypes
