TS3 Program Mgr

Job Description

SUMMARY: UIC Maintenance and Manufacturing (UICMM) seeks experienced logistics manager with United States Army experience to join our team as a Program Manager. The primary objective is to provide innovative and responsive logistics management to meet the evolving mission needs of the US Army TACOM Strategic Service Solution (TS3) program.


The TS3 Program Manager will be responsible for administrative oversight and deliverables to the U S Army under the TS3 program. Provide leadership for performance enhancement practices and processes. Supervise support personnel to manage program execution, growth, risks, and opportunities. Conducts program meetings / reviews and coordinates briefings to both customer and Bowhead senior management personnel. The Program Manager must be able to interact knowledgeably and easily with appropriate Army Materiel Command personnel, contractors and support personnel.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develops, implements and applies management controls. Ensures that production schedules are met and resources are used effectively.

  • May perform integrated logistics support planning for acquisition, use, maintenance, and disposal of material systems and equipment.

  • Ensures that all required resources such as engineering, manpower, production, computer time, facilities and the like are available for the program.

  • Plans, directs and monitors program budget and serves as primary customer contact for program information.

  • Fiscal management of budget, contractual performance and costs. Responsible for P&L.

  • Responsible for the proper issuance and execution of task orders in a timely manner.

  • Must possess a strong desire to provide excellent customer service solutions and interact with coworkers and clients in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Skills


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years program management experience required. Experience with Knowledge Based Services and R&D services desired.

  • Experience managing a large IDIQ contract required.

  • U S Army TACOM experience highly desired.

  • Current TOP SECRET Clearance or the ability to obtain TOP SECRET Clearance required.

  • Basic computer knowledge required plus experience with database software; internet software; spreadsheet software, word processing software and MS Office Suite.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; excellent written/verbal communication skills required.

The work environment varies and includes, but is not limited to; office space, equipment rooms, warehouse space, construction zones, field conditions, and outdoor environments. Work hours may fluctuate outside of normal duty hours. Travel may be required for this position. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and three (3) years' clean driving record for this position. Employee must complete required driver's training and follow all Authorized Driver policies and procedures regarding approved vehicle usage.
