Randstad National Recruiting is now seeking to fill 50 TEMPORARY CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE openings to work for a large healthcare company in Cypress, CA. This position is temporary to hire, with an anticipated duration through 3/29/14.
Title: Customer Service, Call Center Reps (50)

Start Dates: December 9th, 2013
Temporary Duration: temporary through 3/29/14 (dates are subject to change)
Pay Rate: $14/hour
Hours: Start time as early as 5AM, End time as late as 11PM (MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ANY SHIFT WITHIN OPERATING HOURS). Will be required to work on holidays and overtime due to business needs.
Specific Duties:
1. Answers incoming calls (100+ per shift); assists customers/pharmacies/physicians with orders and reorders, benefit eligibility questions and prescription status inquiries.
2. Escalates drug related calls to appropriate pharmacist.
3. Assist pharmacies and members on all issues related to processing of pharmacy claims.
4. Determines appropriateness of overriding pharmacy claims edits and error messages.
5. Coordinates internal resolution of claims exceptions and other issues.
6. Initiates correspondence with members regarding claims rejections and other benefit interpretation.
7. Makes outbound calls on prescriptions withhold orders and payment issues.
8. May also assist in logging in of new prescription orders.
9. Educates customers on benefits, use of plan, formulary, premiums and status of orders, claims or inquiries.
10. Other duties as assigned.
Working hours: Monday-Friday 5:00-11:00
Must have qualifications/experience:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. 1-2 years customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume call center environment.
3. PC proficiency in MS Windows and Word required with call center software strongly preferred.
4. Demonstrated strengths in listening, problem solving, and organization and prioritizing.
5. Accurate typing skills.
6. Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
7. Healthcare background a plus
