Job Description:
Claims Examiners needed for an established health care facility!
Responsibilities:
- Process claims for all lines of business
- Determine correct level of reimbursement based on established criteria
- Negotiate reimbursement amounts for out-of-network claims
- Maintain databases used for reporting
- Determine prior authorization/precertification of services paid through system or health services.
- Review itemized billings for additional charges, medical coding, duplications
- Meet or exceed performance measurements
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years of health care claims processing experience in a managed care environment
- Computer proficient
- Detail oriented
- Self-starter
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
