Responsibilities include:

• Manage the full life cycle of partner-specific feature/functionality development


• Create a vision for the UI framework and user experience for sites and products that reinforce the brand and business objectives of each partner


• Act as a liaison between multiple assigned partners and MLBAM personnel


• Coordinate cross-functional efforts of the production teams (editorial, product, design, multimedia, mobile and technology) along with business operation teams (commerce, finance, legal, sponsorship) within MLBAM for each partner site


• Track data, analyzes results and implements changes based on site analytics and best practices


• Hiring, training, mentoring, and development of direct reports


• Drive team members to deliver projects on time, on budget and consistent with the strategic intent and objectives


• Perform account management and product development roles as needed

Desired Skills

• 10+ years working experience in Internet media, either within an online media or marketing agency in a production capacity


• Fluency in emerging web, mobile & social technologies, industry standards & best practices, knowing when to apply to projects and socialize internally


• Project management experience, specifically the ability to manage technical projects from conception to implementation


• Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines


• Demonstrated leadership abilities with production and creative groups, including internal and external resources


• Strong problem solving skills relating to partners’ needs


• Strong organizational and communication skills, including persuasive presentation ability to senior management


• Ability to develop cordial, professional relationships with all level of partner personnel and MLBAM staff


• Bachelors Degree
