Regional Sales Manager

Konecranes America is currently seeking an experienced sales professional for engineered process duty cranes sales.

The Regional Sales Manager will conduct sales calls, consult with customers, formulate application solutions, prepare and present proposals and follow-up on leads and quotations.

The primary customer base will be major engineering companies and the process industries that use heavy- duty or high capacity crane equipment such as steel mills, steel distribution, paper mills, automotive, power generation, general manufacturing, etc.

Candidates should possess the following:

Degree in Engineering / Business Administration or equivalent industry experience.

Minimum 5 years experience in the application of heavy-duty material handling equipment.

Proven track record of increasing sales in a particular region or product line.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel.

Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and structural systems.

Ability to read and understand detailed customer specifications.

Excellent command of MS office applications.

Experience with using and maintaining sales information in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
