The Role:

FIT Trading Components R&D is seeking driven and dedicated developers to join our fast-paced R&D environment in our New York Office. We are a one-stop shop for clients to execute trades/strategies for different Fixed Income Instruments. We develop rich (real-time) user interfaces which are powered by backend servers in C++.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing/developing high-performance object-oriented solutions using C++ and RDBMS. This developer would primarily be working on multi-threaded server-side applications which have high transaction rates.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of professional experience with C++ on UNIX

- Extensive knowledge of object oriented design, multithreading and data structures

- Previous experience with working on low-latency applications is highly valued

- Strong communication skills

- Knowledge of Financial markets is valued but not required
