Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
This position is a work-from-home role where the employees office is out of their home in TX and reports remotely to offices in Scottsdale, AZ. Caremark is looking for a professional CPhT or health care professional to utilize clinical knowledge in an auditing role.
You will use pharmaceutical and computer knowledge to analyze claims data of pharmacies selected for on-site audit. You will travel on-site to retail, LTC, or specialty pharmacies within several states to conduct audits and communicate directly with retail pharmacies, staff, and corporate headquarters and Caremark management Required Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of pharmacy nomenclature, medications,normal dosage ranges, and normal pharmacy operations, and PBM plans. Thorough knowledge of the practice of pharmacy, including laws, rules, and regulations of the various states, the usual methods of filling and filing prescriptions, and common habits of the profession. Computer literate with the ability to work with various laptop computer programs, and the mainframe reports which impact the selection and processing of onsite audits. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Professional demeanor as on-site audits may be be conducted in an openly hostile environment. Ability to appropriately schedule audits and book travel in a cost effective manner. Travel is involved approximately 50-70 percent of the auditor’s time. This routinely equates to an average of two to three nights away from home and office every other week. This demanding schedule requires a great deal of self discipline, organizational and time management skills and patience. Physical strength to transport a laptop computer to pharmacy locations, travel, and ability to stand for extended periods of time while in pharmacies. Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years related experience in the fields of pharmacy, pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy regulatory industry. PBM related experience a plus. Education:
College Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. CPhT licence preferred. Business Overview:
