Promotions, Events, and Players Club Manager - BlueWater Resort and Casino - Parker, AZ

Maintains and coordinates all event operations including but not limited to promotions, special events, entertainment, and players parties.

Works with the advertising department to produce collateral, tournament advertisements, and implement on-property merchandising programs.

Manages tournament staff to ensure proper coverage during sessions.

Attends regularly scheduled meetings to apprise and to be apprised of developments affecting the department.

Creates and implements events and promotions.

Processes necessary paperwork to purchase gifts for events; attends local merchandise trade shows to review gifts and collect catalogues.Prepares pre and post event budgets.

Responsible for all operational, marketing, and administrative duties related to events including memos, décor, gifts, prize money, rules, admission tickets, fact sheets, signature lists, menus, convention set-up etc.

Handles event registration, customer check-in, and attends all related functions and parties.Maintains customer reservations, data management, requisitions, and purchase orders.

Maintains list management both for auditing and gaming - includes labels, envelopes, 1099's/W-2's.

Composes and types welcome letters; completes signage needs and all event communication to internal staff.Creates and maintains tournament scoring databases, spreadsheets, computer data entry, posting of final results.Responsible for reporting guests add-ons and cancels; coordinates event codes with room reservations.

Orders office and event supplies; maintains all records pertaining thereto.Oversees all entertainment requirements and bookings.Updates and distributes internal special events calendars.

Prepares all tax forms, cage vouchers, and photo releases for tournaments.

Sends out all photos and congratulatory letters to tournament winners.

Handles all customer and inter-office phone inquiries.

Prepares receipts for all player entry fees.

Maintains and disperse donations to various businesses and organizations.

Ensures proper department uniform, appearance and grooming standards are followed.

Attends all company-required training.

Accesses the hotel reservations and Patron Management System to facilitate event guest rooms, complimentary VIP rooms, and utilize reporting from each database for costs, and ROI.

Develops and directs Players Club operations in accordance with established company policies, budgets, procedures and specifications.

Assists the Director of Marketing in developing and implementing marketing programs including direct mail and telemarketing programs.

Maintains staffing schedules to ensure an adequate level of guest service.Responsible for Slot Tournaments including being the tournament captain/leader, and assists with registration of guests, scorekeeping, or other duties assigned to Marketing for slot tournaments.Assists the Director of Marketing in developing operating budgets.

Manages direct mail and marketing activities to Players Club members.Develops and implements various Players Club promotions and functions. Evaluates results and improves or modifies as required to improve effectiveness.

Resolves guest complaints and concerns.

Ensures compliance with applicable policies and procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities include; interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Complies with all BlueWater Resort & Casino Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.Adheres to all safety guidelines.

May be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.Supervises Entertainers and production staff.

Responsible for ensuring adherence to contracts and compliance to company rules and policies.Performs other related duties as assigned by Director of Marketing.
