As a Data Engineer working on the HRIS analytics platform, you will be developing and supporting the analytic technologies that give our customers timely, flexible and structured access to their data. You will be responsible for designing and implementing a platform using third-party and in-house reporting tools, modeling metadata, building reports and dashboards, and administering the platform software. You will interact with customers to gather requirements and build structured reporting solutions. You will provide guidance and support for other engineers with industry best practices and direction. Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and support a platform that can provide ad-hoc access to large datasets - Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and analysis templates using Oracle BI EE - Model data and metadata for adhoc and pre-built reporting using Oracle BI EE. - Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions. - Analyze/Debug existing real time reporting queries and design a unique data model to support real time reporting - Tune application and query performance using Unix profiling tools and SQL - Significant server side administration duties including maintaining backups, monitoring, application maintenance, and application upgrades.

Basic Qualifications

Were looking for Data Engineers who have a passion for data and a passion for supplying their clients with that data. You know and love working with analytic tools, can write excellent SQL and Unix scripts, can partner with customers to answer key business questions, and you are an advocate for your customers. You are analytical and creative, and you dont quit. You should also have the following skills or experiences: · 3+ years experience with notable BI reporting tool ( Oracle BI Enterprise Edition is preferred), including administration, modeling, and development. · ETL skills (5+ years ETL experience with relational and star schema data modeling concepts) · Excellent knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Linux and OLAP · Oracle PL/SQL performance tuning · Server management and administration including basic scripting. · Basic Oracle DBA tasks

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelors degree in CS or related technical field and 5+ years experience in Data Warehousing · ETL skills *CorpAppsJobs
