Security Client Technical Professional - Trusteer (NYC Metro)

Trusteer, an IBM company, is the global leader in endpoint cybercrime prevention. Trusteer products stop the root cause of data breaches and fraud losses: the compromise of employee and customer endpoints by advanced malware and phishing attacks.

As a Security Client Technical Professional (CTP), you will work alongside the Regional Sales managers, as part of the Sales Team and oversee the sales support of Trusteer products, including Rapport, Pinpoint, and mobile security. The CTP is an integral part of the sales organization and assists the sales team with pre-sales technical knowledge and presentations. The CTP works closely with sales managers, prospects and partners as a subject-matter technical expert to demonstrate how a proposed solution meets and exceeds customer requirements.


Responsibilities:

-Support sales team on prospect conference calls, WebEx and onsite visits by providing product demonstrations expertly responding to technical questions, and explaining features in the context of solving customer's business problems.

-Lead technical response to RFPs and RFIs by writing clear responses to commonly asked questions and gathering answers from other internal Trusteer technical experts.

-Participate as a technical resource at trade shows and conferences.

-Work with the sales team to develop and execute key account development plans.

-Support partner team by participating in technical calls and meetings with prospective partners evaluating Trusteersolutions.

-Ensure successful on-site or over the phone product evaluations.

-Plan, manage and execute customer product pilots.

-Possess demonstrable skills in customer-centric selling and a proven track record using it to help drive revenue.

-Ability to work independently with little guidance and as a vital member of a sales team.

-Ability to effectively present technical material to small and large groups.

-Time management, multi-tasking, prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

-Written, oral communication and good interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.


Required



  • At least 2 years experience in technical hands-on experience with application security/endpoint security.

  • At least 3 years experience in a role as a pre-sales engineer facing customers.

  • Basic knowledge in web applications, web protocols, security and Internet environments.

  • Basic knowledge in web threats and cybercrime.

  • Readiness to travel 10% travel annually

  • English: Fluent


Preferred



  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 3 years experience in working with Financial Industry Clients; preferably working in a start-up and vendor environment.
