Position Objective
The Solution Consultant demonstrates in-depth features and functionality of Tyler software to prospective clients and assists with RFP responses.
Responsibilities
- Presentations / Tier 1
- Key EnerGov product presenter in large / tier1 accounts that involve multi-day presentations that dive deep into the capabilities of the software and surrounding technical specifics.
- Develop/Configure customer specific (typically tight turnaround and very involved) scenarios that will be presented to the decision makers – typically during the final / short list demonstration. These are often very extensive and time consuming.
- Present around the technical overview/ architecture of the system
- Provide deep knowledge and testimony to value the software is providing our customers through the presentation approach
- Follow up conversations & responses / overlay assistance related to product and technical on large T1 accounts
- Configure and stand up customer requested EnerGov “sandbox” environments and effectively demonstrate to the agency.
- Key EnerGov product presenter in large / tier1 accounts that involve multi-day presentations that dive deep into the capabilities of the software and surrounding technical specifics.
- RFP Responses
- Assist in responding to RFP’s in the area of feature/functional requirements and narratives associated with product and implemenationation approach.
- With Larger opportunities, this could literally be responding to upwards of a thousand items and dozens of pages of narratives.
- Requires very deep product, technical and process knowledge.
- Maintain Sales Demo Environments
- Maintain sales demo sites / environment and configure new scenarios
- Provide sales staff with perspective on how customers are using the EnerGov software / ROI scenarios
- Assist in responding to RFP’s in the area of feature/functional requirements and narratives associated with product and implemenationation approach.
Qualifications
- The Solution Consultant requires a unique set of skills including the ability to combine technical competence and sales ability.
- A Bachelor's degree is desired with applicable experience an acceptable alternative.
- The ability to understand and effectively communicate with the prospective client is crucial.
- The ability to quickly analyze and respond to questions succinctly is essential.
- The Solution Consultant needs to be able to articulate processes and concepts to the prospective client.
- The ability to maintain composure under demanding and sometimes difficult circumstances is critical.
